Jill and Jackie Schon opened New England's first paint and sip studio because they believed anyone could paint with the right guide. Sixteen years and three studios later, that belief hasn't changed — we've just brought it to your kitchen table.
Who we make this for
You don't want to be an artist. You want an hour that's yours.
Most of the women who paint with us have never picked up a brush since grade school. They're not chasing gallery walls — they're chasing a quiet hour, a little pride, and something on the canvas at the end of it.
So we teach that way. Every tutorial is broken into small, calm steps. We never assume you can draw. We tell you exactly which brush, which color, and how much water. And when a stroke goes sideways, we show you how to turn it into a leaf.
Sixteen years, briefly

Jill and Jackie Schon open New England's first brick-and-mortar paint and sip studio.
- 2013–2019
Three locations, thousands of paint nights, birthdays, team events and date nights.
- 2020
The Paint Bar Membership launches — beginner tutorials you can paint on your own schedule, from anywhere.
- 2023
We close our brick-and-mortar studios — but we never stopped: private and corporate events kept running, and the online business never paused.
- 2026
The membership relaunches, with online tutorials, courses and paint nights you can join from home.
