Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) is right around the corner and we’re gearing up to celebrate the wonderful influence of Mexican food, drink, music, dress, and — you guessed it! — art!
Mexican artist Frida Kahlo introduced us to beautiful surrealist self portraits, Diego Rivera gave us great murals and frescoes, and Rufino Tamayo produced brilliant figurative abstract paintings.
To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, The Paint Bar is hosting a fiesta at our Newbury Street studio. Paint your own margarita glasses at 6:30 pm and drink margaritas provided by Wanderlush. Your first one is included in the price of admission! We’ll have some great snacks, too. Be sure to sign up on our calendar! Feliz Cinco de Mayo!!
